Did you know Birding is know the #1 North American Recreational Activity? To our east is southern Alberta Canada which features an annual birding event each June. Additionally, we can provide you with the map up behind Frank, Alberta to the observation point for migratory birds. From the parking lot, it is less than an hour walk to the observation point. Have you ever wanted to sit on top of a mountain? And see a Golden Eagle? Here is the spot. For the fall of 2006, there have been over 2,000 golden eagles spotted and more than 1,200 sharp skinned hawks.

According to Birds in Flora and Fauna of the Crowsnest Pass, Alberta presented by The University of Lethbridge, the Crowsnest Pass is home to more than 160 species of birds.
